NSSF Payroll Reporting in Lebanon
Bring employee information and National Social Security Fund reporting into your Lebanese payroll review workflow.
What NSSF means for payroll teams
NSSF stands for the National Social Security Fund, Lebanon's national social security institution. Employers need an organized process for reviewing employee information, salary data and the reporting requirements that apply to them. NSSF payroll work should be considered alongside salary processing rather than left as a separate end-of-period exercise.
Keep the supporting employee records consistent
Employee legal details, employment dates, dependent information and salary records are important inputs to payroll review. Maintain these records when an employee joins, changes circumstances or leaves. Ask your adviser which information is required for your employees and how it should be reflected in the applicable NSSF declarations.
Review NSSF reports before submission
PEPS includes NSSF reporting within its payroll application. Review the report against employee and payroll records, investigate differences and retain the supporting information. The application supports report preparation; it does not remove the employer's responsibility to confirm eligibility, contribution treatment and the accuracy of submissions.
Confirm the current rules
Contribution rates, ceilings and procedures must be checked against current NSSF requirements for the reporting period. No contribution rates or entitlement amounts are stated here. Request a demo to discuss your NSSF reporting workflow and confirm the configuration and outputs needed for your Lebanese company.
